Carrick J. Meyers

Carrick J. Meyers joined Adamski Moroski Madden Cumberland & Green LLP in 2023. Mr. Meyer’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including business litigation, real property litigation, trust and estate litigation, and public entity defense.

Prior Work Experience

While an undergrad, Mr. Meyers received his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licenses and used these to work in a variety of patient care roles. After graduating, he moved to Boise, Idaho, and joined a management-in-training program with a senior living company. During this program, Mr. Meyers shadowed the executive team and learned about every facet of running a business. At the program’s conclusion, Mr. Meyers went to Denver, Colorado, where he served as the Regional Director for the Denver-region. During this time, Mr. Meyers oversaw all aspects of operations, including patient care, regulatory compliance, and business operations. Mr. Meyers also served as the Practice Manager for a startup outpatient medical practice group focused on treating individuals suffering from poly-substance abuse.

Mr. Meyers’ work with legal and compliance issues prompted him to enroll at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, Mr. Meyers was a Fellow for the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago. Mr. Meyers also clerked for Anderson Rasor LLP throughout law school, where he assisted with medical malpractice defense litigation and estate management. Mr. Meyers was a member and captain of the Civil Law Trial Team and served as the assistant executive director to the Loyola University Chicago Trial Team Board.

Mr. Meyers lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife and son. He enjoys sports, all forms of physical activity including hiking and running, and is an avid reader.
